Cold puppy :P

We’re in the New Year 2012 already! SO what’s new with you? Nothing new on my side, except for the fact that my puppy loves sleeping in my bedroom despite being asked not to. I guess since he’s very furry, he loves being in the cold place like my room. He just loves the air-conditioned room. My partner and I was sleeping in a very cold room last night because we turned the AC on despite the cold rain.. so you can imagine how cold it was! We were practically hiding under the blanket for the whole night – sometimes I wish we have electric blanket as well. He he.

I guess the puppy will be the happiest puppy if we have snow!

Trying out Stage makeup

Was at Tropicana Mall yesterday with the intention of watching a movie. Along the way, I got distracted at the sigh of Stage makeup store. Of course, my compact powder is about to be at the end of it’s service..so a brand new compact powder is needed. So I went inside, talked to the store assistant, tried a few compact powder and end up buying the 2 way foundation. He he.

What I can say about their makeup collection is.. should be ok? Because I didn’t get to try them yet. I was in a hurry as my brother and friends were waiting for me. But I’ll try out the 2 way foundation tonight. I will let you know my experience with it then. If it’s ok, then maybe you can go and buy their makeup products to try at home. However, in the meantime, I’d suggest that you save some $$ for rv financing instead (if you’re into RVs) because makeup won’t cost you a bomb – you can get them anytime. :-P

Another wedding coming up

A good friend of ours are getting married soon, so we are thinking of getting him something that would remind him of us – and since he’s a smoker, I suggested Davidoff cigars. Of course, the other half couldn’t agree more. But we HAD to add something that could last, he said. OK, then maybe the usual gift that everybody gets on their wedding day – a photo album. LOL! Oh well.. I guess a photo album could do, since we couldn’t afford a brand new lens for him (he’s a photography enthusiast)

Papaya soap is not for everyone..

So I recommended a soap to a friend recently – papaya soap, which was said to be able to help brighten the skin, especially after getting a sunburn. It worked for me, maybe it will work for others, I thought. And then I logged on to Facebook this morning, only to find a message from that person that soap made her skin wrinkle! What a surprise! Why it worked for me and not for others is beyond me. Maybe not everyone is suitable with the content of the soap? Or maybe it is not for older age? Ah well, maybe I’ll worry about it later as I grow old. And perhaps getting a seniors term life insurance online is also another thing to worry about in the future…

To buy or not to buy?

A few of my friends has purchased either an iPad or a Samsung Galaxy Tab, and they have been pestering me with questions like, “When are you getting one for yourself??” Of course I just gushed at their questions and said that I don’t need them. I’d rather get myself a promise ring etiquette than getting those expensive things.

But not until lately that I have been looking at iPad and Galaxy Tab advertisements – because I am suddenly SO interested to get one! >___< Should I get one or not? I don’t really need them, but I really want to have one! iPad or Galaxy??? My fiance suggests iPad… but I kinda like the size of the Tab.

Which one…..?

We are still house-hunting… it is so frustrating to find that the house you fell n love with has been taken by someone else. So hard to find a good home (with good budget) nowadays. Most of the good ones are either taken or too expensive for us.

I’ve been dreaming of having a place of our own so I could paint the walls, decorate it with lots of flowers and furnish with log furnitures. That would be awesome! And when my family comes over for a visit, they’ll have a nice, cozy place to stay.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed still.

Another friend is celebrating birthday next week, only this time, it will be a male. Hehehe. I always think that when it comes to buying gifts for a male, it would be the hardest. What is a perfect gift for a man? I couldn’t possibly buy him an XBox 360.. that is soooo way out of my budget. Of course, I couldn’t buy him a teddy bear or a flower. That would make him look like a sissy! Or shall I get some help from the guys at Personal Creations? I’m sure they have a lot in store to choose from for a birthday boy’s gift.

A cute boxers perhaps? LOL!

My mobile, my life

I used to keep my mobile phone in my bag or in my drawer all the time – and most of the time, I forgot that my mobile phone even existed! However, since getting a smartphone .. I couldn’t seem to get my phone out of my sight. There’s always the twitter to check, Facebook, BBM messages etc. Ha ha! And most of the time, my phone runs out of battery when I most need them. Perhaps I should consider getting a portable phone batteries ya? That way, I could always catch up with my friends and read the latest news.

Early list

I was told that getting the Christmas list done early and shopping for Christmas gifts early can save me lots of time and money. I think it’s true. Maybe I should start making a list, now that it’s already June. Only 6 months more to Christmas. :-)

Maybe I should start with the smallest gifts first. A discount scrubs from Marcus for my younger sister (among other gifts for her). She’ll probably like it, I guess. Ha ha ha! Or maybe a gift card for her to shop at Pottery Barn and turn her into a Pottery Barn addict like myself.

…now where’s the pen and paper?

Of hair and gifts

Since getting his hair straightened, my other half just couldn’t seem to stop touching his hair. Either touching it just to air it, or re-arrange his hair in place.. he just can’t stop touching it! I guess he feels weird having his hair in place and not flying away wildly like it used to be. LOL. I guess this makes it easy for me when his birthday arrives – because I wouldn’t have to think too much on what sort of gift to get him. I can just get him some haircare products (but careful not to get him hair loss products or he’ll be mad!) :-D That would be the best gifts for him, don’t you think?
