When we moved into this new apartment, among the other things that I so wanted for it was some contemporary sofas for the living room, great modern-patterned curtains for all the rooms and some new old fashioned technology stuff.

Garden On Balcony

I’ve been complaining to my fiancé lately about how boring it is living in the city, particularly in a condo or apartment where having a backyard is like asking for snow in Malaysia. I’m a plant lover (but I don’t think I’ve come to reach to having the “green finger” status yet) – I know I am, because I get annoyed (like REAL annoyed) whenever I see people chopping down trees. I get all excited whenever we pass by the nursery. Naturally, I love plants and flowers. I also believe in flower fairies and all..

But anyway, not to sound like someone who’s high on nuphedragen, I’ve made a deal with the beloved fiancé of mine that anytime when we have our own pad, he’ll agree to let me have a mini garden of my own at one corner of the condo/apartment (we couldn’t afford a house in KL just yet!) and not to complain about having to drive me to a flower nursery. lol

However the garden would look like, I think I’ll be happy for just a small garden for the 2 of us to sit outside and enjoy the beauty of it. :-)

The Pictures On The Wall

I’ve been thinking about putting something on the empty wall of my bedroom when it suddenly dawned on me that a wall decal would be the best option.

Something like this cute Happy Birds wall decal:

Of course, my bedroom walls aren’t red! lol.

What do you think? They’ll make a pretty sight on the wall, no? And it is so much cheaper than those of IKEA as well. Going for only RM28 per piece. Heck, it’s even so much cheaper than getting an acne treatment from the clinic. lol. Not that I’m saying it’s not important to treat your acne, but hey.. sometimes happiness starts from the inside of your house!

The Kitchen Quest

My partner has this penchant for house deco and kitchen renovation help books and magazines that he has like a pile of them back in our home. Last week, we went for our usual week’s worth grocery shopping and as predicted, my partner stopped by the book store and had a look at the row of kitchen renovation magazines. He was so undecided on which book to buy as they were all “interesting” (according to him). I told him to just quickly pick one as I was beginning to lose my patient (I wanted to buy a Reader’s Digest magazine but they do not have it in the store! In the end, he picked one particular kitchen magazine because they featured a kitchen that has beautiful ceramic tiles! Ahhh.. my partner. We’re gonna have a beautiful kitchen at home some day. lol

I dream of a beautiful home someday. I don’t like the house we’re staying in at the moment – it’s not our house. We’re just renting it with Bunny. We’re planning to have our own house someday tho. It’s still in the planning process. :-P Bunny and I have been looking into house plans online.. we also love those Outer Banks designs. They’re really beautiful!

And last week, I bought this garden magazine on sale at the bookstore. It was filled with so many ideas on how to start your own beautiful garden. Oh my, I can’t wait to have one! I hope that we’ll be able to have a house with a huge garden someday.. *fingers cross*

In Need Of New Furnitures

I was just cleaning my bedroom when I took some time to stare at my bedroom furnitures and stuff. I noticed that I still need A LOT of things for the walls, such as book racks, toy racks etc. Man, I gotta start saving some $$ if I’m gonna buy me some new furnitures. I’m also dreaming of a brand new sofa for my bedroom. One such as this would do.. it’s so cute!

If only I have all the money… well, I should probably check out those discount furniture websites. I might get good furnitures with super discount prices! :-)

Busy Week

We’re expecting some family and friends coming over this weekend, so naturally, we’re busy polishing the home. Hah! And being a person who wants her room and surroundings to smell good, I made sure the potpourris are replaced and refilled with new ones and the air fresheners are working just fine.

The house now smells heavenly and I’m really happy! I think I probably need a dehumidifier next – my guests are definitely gonna thank me. Muahahaha!

Sweet Scentsation

I have always been a fan of air fragrance. In fact, I have like a year supply of air fragrance just for my bedroom alone. *hee* Having air fragrance for my bedroom is like having playstation 3 for boys. :þ It’s always such joy for me coming back to a pleasant smelling room everyday.

Which brings my attention to Glade’s (my favorite brand when it comes to air fragrances) latest product. The French Vanilla Candle. According to their website, the candle creates a lovely aroma and it lasts a long time. Also made with natural oils.

Wow, I must have this! Unfortunately, I don’t see it at our local supermarkets just yet.. so I’d probably need to purchase them online. Oh well.. for my bedroom sake.

What’s your favorite flower? Mine’s tulip, but it’s impossible to grow one in my country.

This one’s beautiful too (but I have no idea what it is). I think the purple ones looked like lavender.

How was your weekend? Hopefully it was filled with all fun activities. I couldn’t help but think of foods during weekends. Probably because I’ve got nothing much to do – unless of course, if “shopping” was in the plan.
