Birthday Gift?
My fiancé asked me a couple of weeks ago, “What do you want for your birthday?” I honestly did not have anything specific in mind at that moment, but since we were in a watch shop, I blurted out, “A watch! A watch with dangling charms!”
A few watch brand came to mind, which includes Fossil (they have a few collection of watch with cute charms) and of course, J. Lo’s watch as well:
The conversation, however, ended there when we decided to go watch a movie. But to my surprise, last Sunday, he mentioned about the watch again. Only this time, he wasn’t willing to get me one because he read somewhere that it is considered “bad” when you give your loved one things like handkerchief, watch, shoes etc. I’ve no idea why but in fact, I’ve heard of it too.
I am however, not as superstitious like most of my friends… but I did tell him that I actually did not want a watch, since I’ve already have 2 of them that I hardly even wear. Frankly speaking, I do not know what I want for my birthday. The apple bottoms perhaps? lol. But I think all I REALLY wanted for my birthday is a Siberian Husky! (but I couldn’t have one, yet.. because we’re staying in an apartment. So…. *sigh*)
