A friend of mine just moved into her new home. She bought the home a year ago, and only began working on the interior design about 3 months ago. She was so excited when she called to tell me that she’s finally moving into her new home. She also invited me over for a housewarming party at her new home.

Must be really exciting! I’ve always loved new homes. It’s fun getting to see the interior design of a new home, sometimes it gives me an idea on how my new home would look like – when I have enough money to purchase a house that is. Heehee.. Like in the case of my friend, while her home was undergoing renovation for the interior, I remember her going crazy at the furniture shop, shopping for furnitures and decoratives. Oh my, bet I would be as crazy as her when I have my own house too.

Now this gives me a question. What should I buy for her? I definitely wouldn’t want to come empty-handed to her housewarming party. That certainly is not polite. Should I buy her more decoratives? Should I get her some plants perhaps? Hmm.. Oh wait, I know she loves cooking. Maybe I should get her berndes cookware instead! Yes, that’ll be nice. I’m sure she’ll love it!! Then the next time she prepares lovely meal, she might even invite me over. *giggle*
