Those Were The Days
Growing up as a child, I get to see what both my parents did. My dad, for instance, is attached to the medical line, so I got used to the smell of hospital, the look on people’s face when they receive stitches, the usage of emergency kits, which medicine goes for which sickness.. those sort of things. In fact, I get to play with my father’s equipments in the clinic too. Like the stethoscope. I think stethoscope is one of my favorite thing to play with as a child. I just love hanging it on my chest, playing doctor with my parents, listening to their heartbeats! Nothing beats the joy of listening to that – as a child. It was amazing! LOL
I also remember the time when my dad would take me along to his clinic, he would show me some of the equipment he has, one of them would be the pulse oximeter. Again, I was fascinated with all these stuff! Truly amazing!
If you want to impress a child, show them something “amazing” and they’ll be one happy child. LOL
