House Hunting
Remember I mentioned about my aunt – The Jill of all trades?
Well.. I’d like to talk about her again. Hehe. Back when I was in college, I remember when my mom mentioned to me that she’s planning to buy a new home in the city where she was born. I thought that was a good idea. And since my aunt was a real estate agent at that time, we called her up regarding the plan. Immediately she said, “Oh, are you free tomorrow? We can go and have a look at the houses.” I got excited!
The next day, we were all over the town, searching for a home. it was fun, going from one house to another. Imagining how the house would look like if we bought it. Even my late cousin, J was there too. I remember at one particular house, he said: “Oh, get this one, aunt Jen. It has a large family room. Perfect for our family drinking-session!” LOL he was really excited then…
But after all the house-hunting, my parents decided to build their own house out of the hustle and bustle of the city.
When I’ve saved enough money someday, I will too, go on a house-hunting with my aunt again. Although she’s no longer working as a real estate agent, but I trust that she’ll help me go through it. *smile*
